With twenty-four years of results-oriented retail experience, Joan has a proven track record of sales and margin performance. She has an in-depth understanding of how to successfully develop, package and market products to meet customer needs.

Most recently Joan served a senior buyer for Circuit City's $4.2 billion Technology Division with over $500 million in total buying responsibility for digital cameras and compact photo printers. Her responsibilities included managing assortment selections and transitions, developing vendor relationships, implementing displays, and updating in-store training programs and contests.

As buyer for Circuit City, Joan had over $350 million in total buying responsibility for telecom, faxes and a corporate gift card program. For these categories, Joan developed and implemented merchandising, marketing, training, and display strategy for over 600 stores. She collaborated with key vendors to design products and packaging for the purpose of driving Circuit City's strategy.

As assistant buyer for Circuit City, Joan had over $100 million in total buying responsibility for small electronics, accessories and blank media. For these categories, Joan developed assortment, marketing and display strategies as well as determining corporate pricing and managing vendor relationships.
